Our targeted efforts in Eswatini promoting male circumcision among adolescent boys and young men have played a major role in reducing new HIV infections by over 70%, currently at around 4,000 cases annually. By integrating circumcision services with school-based extracurricular activities such as sports, we have boosted health outcomes and school engagement. These results significantly contribute to the national goal of ending the HIV epidemic by 2030, demonstrating our strong commitment to youth empowerment and epidemic control.

Young women in horticulture enhanced their skills and income-generating activities through experiential learning. They participated in knowledge-sharing visits to the Malkerns Research Centre, renowned for innovative horticultural research, and GUBA Permaculture Centre, which focuses on sustainable agriculture and community empowerment through permaculture training in Eswatini.

Exciting moments during the launch of the Litsemba Rising Project at the University of Eswatini. This initiative signified a beginning of comprehensive and impactful journey dedicated to creating safer campuses free from sexual harassment. Litsemba Rising embodies hope and commitment toward empowering students to foster respectful and harassment-free learning environments.

What an inspiring moment for our children’s future! Recently, the organization conducted engaging touchpoint sessions for the Read at Home project, where parents and caregivers came together to share their experiences. This initiative is successfully fostering a strong reading culture among children aged 0-5 years. During these sessions, caregivers provide valuable feedback on progress while revisiting the core principles of the program to maximize its benefits for the children. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Bantwana Initiative Eswatini and the World Bank for their vital collaboration in empowering marginalized children, helping to prepare them confidently for school and lifelong learning.

As an organization, we prioritize meaningful team-building experiences to enhance communication, collaboration, trust, morale, and social connection. Years of project implementation have taught us that mental health is crucial for both staff well-being and performance. This commitment is evident in the team-building sessions showcased in our photos.

Our organization remains deeply committed to empowering rural women, with a focused emphasis on young women, by equipping them with essential business management skills. This initiative aims to boost their productivity, drive economic growth, and broaden market opportunities. Through intensive and hands-on training sessions, we have significantly contributed to poverty reduction while enhancing family and community well-being by promoting women’s financial independence. The success of these efforts is reflected in various economic strengthening interventions, including the recent trainings where approximately 300 young women engaged in horticulture and broiler production received comprehensive training delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, specifically the Department of Veterinary Services and Agricultural Research. Through this collaboration we demonstrated our strength in fostering impactful partnerships to amplify the reach and effectiveness of women’s empowerment programs. As an Organization we continue to seek strong and like-minded collaborators to join us in expanding these opportunities, creating sustainable livelihoods, and transforming communities through women-led economic development.
